I’ve decided to start this blog to get into the habit of documenting new discoveries and turn information into knowledge which can easily be found. It’s something I have been meaning to do for … a while. And since I’ve finally just decided to get on and do it the format and design of the site is likely to change as I’ve just gone with a simple, clean and basic layout to get up and running quickly.
There’s not going to be any unifying theme to these posts, though it is highly likely that most of the content will revolve around information technology, with frequent detours to the world of books, astronomy, science and the odd random factoid.
I’ve opted for using a static site generator and have chosen Hugo. More on the implementation and choice later, maybe.
